We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Sommelier to join the team at Hakkasan Mayfair, part of Hakkasan Group, home to the internationally acclaimed Hakkasan, Yauatcha and Ling Ling restaurants.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering exceptional wine service within a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment. You will share your expertise with guests, support the development of the sommelier team, and help maintain the highest standards of wine knowledge and service within a world-class brand.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Senior Sommelier or an experienced Sommelier within a premium restaurant or luxury hospitality environment
A genuine passion for wine, food pairing and delivering exceptional guest experiences
Strong knowledge of wines, vintages and wine service, with relevant wine qualifications desirable
Confidence in recommending wines and pairing them with dishes to enhance the guest experience
Ability to support, coach, and develop junior members of the sommelier team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, professional approach
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering the highest standards of service
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
Flexibility to work shifts, including evening, weekends and public holidays
