Calling all aspiring chefs. OREN is looking for a Chef de Partie to join our small, independent restaurant team.
OREN serves modern Middle Eastern and Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, with a focus on bold flavours, quality ingredients and thoughtful, seasonal cooking. Open-fire cooking, baking breads, fermenting, smoking and working with great seasonal produce are at the heart of what we do.

Chef de Partie
As a Chef de Partie, you’ll work across the different sections of the kitchen, taking responsibility for your section and helping to deliver consistently high standards throughout service.
You’ll prepare, cook and present food to OREN’s standards while keeping things organised, clean and running smoothly. You’ll follow all food hygiene, health and safety procedures and play an important part in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
You’ll also support junior members of the team, share your knowledge and help create a positive, respectful and collaborative kitchen environment.
What experience and personality traits do you need?
● Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role.
● A genuine passion for food, seasonal ingredients and Middle Eastern and Mediterranean-inspired cuisine.
● An interest in open-fire cooking, bread baking, fermentation and smoking.
● A desire to learn, develop and progress as a chef.
● Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
● The ability to communicate well and work as part of a small team.
● A positive attitude and a calm, focused approach during service.
● Pride in your work and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
● An understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety procedures.
Experience with Middle Eastern or Mediterranean cuisine is desirable, but enthusiasm, curiosity and a willingness to learn are just as important.
