General Manager

Clerkenwell, London On-site Front of House

For the first time since opening we are recruiting a new General Manager, who will play a key role in supporting the wider management team in delivering an exceptional front-of-house experience to every guest, whilst keeping on top of day to day people management, site maintenance and improvements, budgets, training and onboarding, systems and technology reviews and implementation. We are looking for a highly organised, driven, detail obsessed individual who is able to delegate and communicate effectively in a seven day a week operation.

Some of your key responsibilities include:
ROTA writing, onboarding, ordering and replying to guest feedback

Delegation and communication with management and events team
Support the daily running of front-of-house operations, opening and closing of the restaurant and ensuring service flows seamlessly
Share knowledge of menus, seasonal produce, and the restaurant’s ethos with clarity, and enthusiasm
Training of new starters

Enthusiastically leading the team through busy services
Nurturing and developing the team, fostering a supportive and positive working culture

Job Requirements
Fluent in English
Work authorisation in the UK
Experience in a management role within a high-quality, hospitality-driven restaurant environment
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, support, and develop a front-of-house team

BONUS: Good working wine knowledge (WSET level 3 equivalent)
